Directors
Our Directors are Mr Makonese (Chairman), Dr A. Mubango (CEO), Mrs A.E. Mubango, Mr C. Kaguda,Dr L Mlilo and Mrs M Mureriwa. Dr Mubango has a wealth of experience in management having worked in the Commercial Banking Sector for over 20 years. He left at Executive Director Level. Dr Mubango is a Management consultant and has lectured on the Midlands State University MBA programme. He holds several academic / professional qualifications including an MBA (Banking & Finance) and a Ph.D.
Mr Makonese is a retired CEO in the fertilizer and chemical industry. He has chaired a number of boards among them ZFC limited, Barclays Bank Zimbabwe and Africa Sun Limited. He is the current Chairman of the Zimbabwe Agriculture Society as well as the Research Council of Zimbabwe. He has also sat on a number of other boards in various capacities. Mr Makonese holds a Bsc as well as an Msc in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
Mrs Mubango is a nurse by profession. She worked in government for 11 years and in the private sector as an Occupational Health Nurse for 10 years. She left nursing in 2002 and later worked for a Micro Finance Company as Managing Director before joining Peace Security. Mrs Mubango holds a Bsc Management & Entrepreneurship degree (Banking & Finance) and has attended a number of training programs that include; Safety Advisory, Management Development, Entrepreneurship Development, Effective Group Leadership.
Mr Kaguda served in the Zimbabwe Republic Police for 9 years and left with the rank of Superintendent (Administration and Finance). For the past 20 years. Mr Kaguda has assumed various senior managerial positions with different organisations in the private sector. Currently Mr Kaguda is a management consultant and part- time tutor in Business Management. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Cardiff University, Wales (UK) and is a fellow (FCIS) of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe.
Mrs Mureriwa is a marketing consultant by profession. She has in excess of 25 years industry experience having worked in the FMCG sector, ICT sector as well as the Financial services sector where she assumed various senior managerial positions. Mrs Mureriwa holds a Master of Science in Marketing (University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK) and a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) Degree (University of Zimbabwe).
Dr. Mlilo is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years’ experience at managerial and business leadership level. He holds a Chartered Secretaries and Administrators certificate, Executive Diplomas in General Management Business Leadership and a Ph.D in Business Leadership from the Dominican Republic. He is also pursuing an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability in the UK. Dr. Mlilo has held several positions which include: Cold Storage Company, Amtec Motors, Ingwebu Breweries, Piggiot Maskew, Shadows Amalgamated and Association for Business in Zimbabwe. He is currently the In-Country Director of the Business Council of Africa, President of the Zimbabwe Institute of Management, Chairman of Zimbabwe Squash Association and Managing Director of Omnibit Investments PL, a consultancy company that deals in global trade and investment matters.
